Barber ophthalmic needles meet the highest standards of modern micro-surgery.
Continuous technical development has resulted in a product range of ophthalmic needles which combine outstanding quality with functionality. As a result of this development, BARBER now offers a product which combines a high strength needle with a finely honed and extra sharp point.
Barber ophththalmic needles are made exclusively from special quality maraging steel conforming to, ‘Custom 455’.
- Duly age-hardened so as to give optimum strength & ductility after heat-treatment.
- Retain cutting edge for long periods.
- Guarantee low penetration force and minimum trauma through precise control of point geometry.
Available in several variations:
- Flattened needles with spatulated point.
- Triangular needles with reverse cutting point.
- ‘Slim blade’ micro-needles with cutting edge point
Ophthalmic needles with sutures
Barber can supply ophthalmic needles bulk packed, but can also undertake attachment of sutures to needles.
Products will be supplied as non-sterile and packed with each piece wrapped separately on a foam winder, 100 (or more) such winders per box.
Special packing can also be done as per customer’s specific requirements.
